Hello my Name is Dan Smith

     I enjoy Painting with Oils, Acrylic, Water Colours, Airbrushing, Pen & Ink on a wide variety of Mediums. From Antique Saws & Containers, Barn Board, Chairs & Benches Even on Motorcyles and Cars, Murals on Walls & Buildings. 

     I create and design  Our own line of Furniture, to put my Paintings on. Occasionally a customer will bring in their own piece to have a painting done. Or ask me to design something to fit into thier decor.

     I have been doing Art & Craft Show's across Ontario for over 10 years.  I Opened my Gift Shoppe in 1999, located at 4218 Drummond Road,  in beautiful Niagara Falls, Ontario.  We are one block from Thoroldstone Road, And only minutes to the QEW. You can catch us by Luck or Chance... We do not keep regular hours, so please call for an apppointment to see our studio, Come sit out in the garden's and have a coffee and Chat... the coffee pot is always ready!

After an industrial accident in 1995. Three of my didgets were reattached. And a torn rotator cuff!   I lost about 75% use of my left hand.  Well theraphy was hard and painful. A good friend talked with the surgeon's and taught me the Art of Creating Teddy Bears....

     I  enjoy Painting, Airbrushing, Pen & Ink, Pastels, Acrylics and Water Colours  on many different kinds of mediums. Mostly Antique old containers and wood. I spent a winter in *1977, Painting the Wildlife & beautiful Landscapes in the foot hills of Glen Clova, Scotland.  I spent 5 winters, painting on International Drive in Orlando, Florida. Doing Wildlife on Cypress Clocks.

     I have been Designing and making Collectable and Child safe : TeddyBears, Critters & Dolls for over 45 years.  I have been doing Craft Shows and Festivals acrossed Ontario for over 40 years.  We have also been known to do private parties and Fundraisers.

     In 2003 we were contacted by L&E Fashions, in Toronto. To design some Bears with the OAKRIDGE BOYS LOGO"S on them.  To be sold at their Live  Show at Casino Rama located in Northern Ontario.  Thank you Loretta & Ian and of course the Oak Ridge Boys whom we got to meet personally, with our back stage passes.
